Energy permeates every turn, from the Baroque elegance of Purcell’s England to the thrill-seeking dynamism of Australian composer Holly Harrison’s Black Ice, commissioned especially for ACO Collective.

The rhythmic intensity of Stravinsky’s iconic ballet Petrushka comes to life in a new arrangement for strings, before the concert closes with Bartok’s showstopper, his Divertimento for String Orchestra. Overflowing with the folk melodies of his native Hungary, it’s the perfect showcase for ACO Collective.
