The Australian Hand Cane Cutting Championship returns to the Home Hill Showground on Saturday, 27 May 2023.
The Australian Hand Cane Cutting Championships is a test of skill and endurance, with thousands of dollars in prize money up for grabs for competitors 
Spectators will have the opportunity to walk through a paddock of burnt sugarcane and experience the dirty, back-breaking work of a by-gone era. Cheer on the men and women as they swing their cane knives on the way to one competitor being crowned the Australian Hand Cane Cutting Champion.
Let the kids be entertained all day with free children’s craft activities, face painting, animal farm, jumping castle and much much more!
Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
