Think what you’ve got what it takes to become Australia’s next Poetry Slam champion?
All you need is an original poem and 2 mins on the mic. Two poets chosen by the audience will go on to the QLD state finals with the chance for a shot at the nationals.
Both performers and spectators need a ticket – so grab yours today!
- Doors open at 5pm on the day, competition begins at 6pm.
- Registration for performers opens from 5pm – 6pm at the venue
- Please note, as per the Australia Poetry Slam competition rules, a maximum of 20 poets/writers can perform at the heat.
- Content Warning: The APS events are for all ages and some content may not be suitable for young children.
