It is our intention as the Farmers Market Tumbi Umbi organisers to strengthen our own local community’s recognition of and connection to buying local direct from our farmers, producers and local makers from the Central Coast and surrounds.
The market will give our farmers, producers and local makers direct access to consumers for selling lessening their distribution costs to keep higher profits for themselves. This community objective is the reason Mingara Recreation Club is very supportive of our efforts to establish the market at the designated parking lot within their property. Likewise, our own local community is supportive of buying local. The Farmers Market at Mingara will be ideally positioned to serve our local community for the northern part of the Central Coast NSW.
