Mackay Community Gardens presents Food Forest Fest. Join us in the celebration of the life of Autumn. This gathering is centred around the region’s diversity, permaculture, music, healing, food, and local handcrafted and homegrown market stalls.
This family event has lots of education, creation, and play including the following activities:
- Permaculture workshop
- Tropical cooking demonstration
- Sound healing
- Live music
- Fire performance
- Garden tour
- Kids activities
- Face painting
- Locally grown and handcrafted Market stalls
Theme- Forest creatures, come dressed as a creature of the forest and play in the lit up enchanted forest best dressed prize to be won.
ENTRY: Gold coin donation at the gate
(All proceeds go towards further development at the Mackay Community Gardens)
