 Platypus Paddle 9th September 
Get amongst the annual Platypus Paddle. Mackay’s multi craft race, set in the beautiful Mackay Marina. Offering stand up paddle board sprints, short course and long course racing. Whether you’re a seasoned kayaker, ski paddler, outrigger or stand up paddle boarder or trying racing for the first time, the Platypus Paddle promises excitement for all skill levels.

 Rumble on the Reef – National Kite Foil Series 
Watch as the sky comes alive with colourful kites during the Rumble on the Reef – National Kite Foil Series! This premier kite foil competition will showcase the skills of top athletes as they harness the wind and race, creating a mesmerizing spectacle for spectators of all ages. The event will take place from the 8th – 10th of September at the spectacular Lamberts Beach.
