National Tree Day | Oaklands Park

The wildlife corridor has been established over the past decade, largely by volunteers.

They aim to improve it by removing invasive weeds; adding a broader range of local native plant species; adding species that we know support lizards, skinks, native bees, butterflies, dragon flies, birds, possums, bats and mammals.

• Outdoors
• Bring a hat, water bottle and a snack.
• Wear Sunscreen and Insect Repellent
• Wear closed in shoes, bring gardening gloves if you have!

Please note: Volunteer numbers for this event are capped at 40 and plant numbers are also limited to only 400.
