Pride & Prejudice
Voted the most romantic novel ever written, Pride & Prejudice is coming to life on stage at The Art House, Wyong.
You’re invited to join the Bennet’s in their Longbourn home, dance with Charles Bingley at Netherfield, dine with Mr Collins and Lady Catherine, and fall in love with Elizabeth and Darcy. This nineteenth century romantic comedy, revolves around two people who were born to be in love, and care not about business, pleasure, or each other. It is frustrating enough when one person refuses to fall in love, but when both refuse, we cannot rest until they kiss.
Elizabeth Bennet is one of the most charming and loved heroines in all literature, while Mr Darcy has become a model for romantic and desirable heroes ever since he was penned. The story also has some of Jane Austen’s best comic creations, such as the awkward Mr Collins, lively Mrs. Bennet, flirtatious Lydia, and the maleficent Lady Catherine De Bourgh.
Many productions offer laughter and tears, this one delivers.
