With fun for all the family showcasing the creativity of our region’s best businesses, schools, community groups and dancers. Watch Airlie Beach Main Street transform into a sea of colour and life with vibrant music, entertainment and imaginative floats. Come line the streets, cheer for your favourite float and soak up the atmosphere and celebrate the Great Barrier Reef Festival.

If you haven’t been involved before, now is the time to showcase your business, community group or school. Entering the parade is a great opportunity to get your work colleagues or club members together and come up with a great idea for a float and advertise yourselves to the whole town.

The Street Parade is always reef-themed: this year’s theme focuses on the ocean’s majestic giants, the ‘Whales of the Whitsundays’!

But feel free to throw in the odd dolphin or dugong to showcase all of the majestic creatures in the Whitsundays.
