Sail Airlie Regatta 2023

​Since becoming an annual event in 2009, the Whitsunday Sailing Club Easter Off the Beach regatta has become an important date in the calendar for many sailors across Queensland, with some coming all the way from Brisbane to complete. 2021 celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the formation of the Whitsunday Sailing Club. To celebrate, the club held the biggest Sail Airlie regatta ever with over 140 boats competing over 5-course areas. Planning for the 2023 regatta is already underway with plenty of activities both on and off the water. Billed as a family-friendly event, there will be a coaching program followed by 3 days of racing. The competition on the water is suitable for all family members, making it one of the few sports that cater for all age groups and genders.
