- 26/5/2023 – The Burdekin Cultural Fair featuring First Fire
- 27/5/2023 – The Australian Hand Cane Cutting Championships
The Burdekin Cultural Fair featuring First Fire celebrates the diversity of the Burdekin while witnessing the first cane fire of the 2023 harvest! The Australian Hand Cane Cutting Championships is a test of skill and endurance, with thousands of dollars in prize money up for grabs for competitors. Both events have something to do for the whole family with children’s activities, animal farms, come and try stages, food stalls, a bar and much more!
