Showcasing all things art, culture, music, pre-loved and people, the Long Jetty Festival is set to activate the streets and venues of the iconic suburb, in a huge celebration of everything that is uniquely Long Jetty. Sending off summer, the event is the ultimate one-day takeover of the beautiful lakeside suburb and among the biggest community events to hit the Central Coast.
With an expected crowd number of 10,000+, the streets of the iconic suburb which has boomed with alternative culture and creative hype over the past decade, will be filled with locals and tourists alike. A coming together of all things artistic that the area is renowned for – art, culture, music and gastronomic; the streets will be abuzz with more than 250 local artisan market stalls and various zones offering a bunch of immersive and fun experiences for all ages.
With music an integral part of the event’s programming, we are pleased to have the incredible talents of The Rubens and Meg Mac along to headline Mainstage – joined by Little Quirks, Tropical Zombie, Sam Windley, The Rams, Punk Rock Hillbillies and more with local buskers and musicians roaming the foreshore throughout the day.
The “Jetty” will be bustling with an array of various zones and activations including our Craft Bar Area with delicious small batch brews on offer, The Flea Market – a place to peruse vintage wares, records, plants & pots, Chilli Village for those that dare, the Street Art quarter with live art installations, Bark Park for a tail-wagging time for you and your furry friend, the Green Zone our eco-friendly space with organic fruit and veg producers and speakers, or drop by Kids Corner for endless pint size fun for the children. The day will also include cultural and educational talks, workshops and masterclasses and dedicated chill-zones to throw down a blanket overlooking the Coast’s famous, ‘Long Jetty’ for sunset.
It wouldn’t be a true Long Jetty event without some local favourites like Tiki La La, Lucky Surf Supply, Upstairs Wines, El Reapers, The Bang, Moxie & Muse and more throwing their own in-house activations so stay tuned for full programming with all event vendors and partners announced in the coming weeks!
